Agri supply chain

From plant to village dealer, one leg at a time

Fertiliser distribution and crop protection sales usually run in three hops: from the plant to a depot, from the depot to distributors, and from distributors to the dealers farmers buy from. Each leg has its own load size, and demand peaks before every sowing season. Pick the leg you ship. All three move as part load.

Leg 01

Plant to depot

Packed fertiliser and agrochemicals leaving a plant for the company depot or C&F agent in each region. We collect from your dock, issue the LR at pickup and move the goods on a scheduled lorry to the destination branch. Dispatches build up ahead of kharif and rabi, and part load lets you move stock as it is ready instead of waiting for a full truck.

Fertiliser transport

How agrochemical transport works with us

Agri logistics often means moving farm produce. Our part of the agriculture supply chain is the other direction: the inputs going out to farmers. Most of those dispatches are too big for a courier and too small for a dedicated truck. Part truck load (PTL), also called less than truck load (LTL), fills that gap. Your goods share a lorry with other consignments on the same route. We run fixed, scheduled routes on our own closed-body lorries, not market vehicles, and every vehicle has GPS and FASTag.

What is your typical dispatch?

  1. 01

    Book

Share the pickup address, delivery pin codes, number of bags or cartons and approximate weight, or request a pickup online. Bookings placed before 4:00 PM qualify for the next 24 or 48 hour slot.

  2. 02

    Pickup and LR

Goods are collected from your plant or depot in a closed-body lorry, and a lorry receipt (LR) is issued at pickup. What is a lorry receipt?

  3. 03

    Consolidation and line haul

Your consignment travels with other part loads on the same lane to the destination branch. Our team keeps a daily watch on e-way bills while the goods are in transit.

  4. 04

    Delivery and tracking

Last mile delivery to the distributor's or dealer's address. Anyone with the LR number can track the consignment, and the consignee signs for the goods on delivery.

Door pickup and delivery is one of our core services, so yes. Add your pickup address when you request a pickup or a rate.

How is agro part load freight charged?

You pay for the weight of your consignment on the lane it travels, not for a whole vehicle. We charge on actual weight or volumetric weight, whichever is higher. Use the freight calculator for an indicative band, then ask your branch for a firm rate.

What if our dispatch is more than 3 tonnes?

Ask about our Speed Service. For loads above 3 tonnes we can send a dedicated vehicle from Vijayawada, Hyderabad or Visakhapatnam once the destination, vehicle and timing are agreed. Tell us the weight and our booking team will advise.
